Arms Of Jesus

Dr Sam Martin
, grew up in Scotland and after being in Civil Engineering, returned to school to study for the ministry. After graduating, he served two churches in Scotland, being led by God to Canada in 1977 to Pastor a church in Pickering. The Church saw tremendous growth and became renowned for its world outreach. In 2003, after much prayer and the study of the Scriptures, Safe Haven was birthed by God and the pastoral responsibilities were given to Dr. Martin. He also founded The Arms of Jesus Children’s Mission, and has served on Mission Boards including: Pioneer Clubs of Canada; Trans World Radio; Christian Blind Mission International; The Home Mission Board and the French Mission Board of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches. Over and above this, he served as a professor at Central Baptist Seminary and Canada Christian College. Dr. Martin and his wife Margaret have two wonderful children (and their spouses), and six beautiful grandchildren. www.armsofjesus.org

Walter & Florence Grob (NAB)

Walter has been a Sunday school teacher, a youth group executive for two years, an usher, and has served on the finance and missions committee.  He has also served as a deacon.  He has been involved with Student Mission Advance, an interdenominational organization whose aim is to get students invovled with missions.

Florence is a dentist, now with her own practice.  She very much enjoys ministering through music: she is a church choir director and member of the singing group "Psalms Alive."
Walter and Florence minister in Cameroon as career missionaries.  Walter's responsibilities include the position of Comptroller for the Cameroon Baptist Convention, a huge organization and responsibility.

CAMP DEVELOPMENT

NAB pastors and churches have decades of relationship with leaders in Romania, but it was in 2014 that NAB formalized a ministry agreement to aid the Hungarian Baptist Conference of Romania in the development of Camp Falcon Rock. We are working together for the construction of a ministry center that be instrumental in developing the next generation of Christian leaders for this country. www.rootsinromania.com

David & Aleece Cooper
ABWE Canada’s missionary family

Our goal is to help fulfill the Great Commission by serving in Peru through crisis pregnancy ministry and biblical education in order to multiply churches, leaders, and missions movements for Christ.

Aleece will be focusing her efforts on serving at the Vida Nueva Prenatal Centers in Peru. They have been a vital outreach to nationals, ministering to both physical and spiritual needs. Hundreds of ladies have been cared for and had the hope of salvation shared with them through this ministry.

Dave will be joining the faculty of Baptist Theological Seminary, Lima to teach the Word of God. Concentrating on the Old Testament and Hebrew, Dave will be training men and women to accurately interpret and effectively communicate God's Word.

Through this two-fold emphasis it is our prayer that God would use us to build up His church in Peru, inspiring Peruvians to be missionaries to their own countrymen and to those without Christ around the world. https://cooperstoperu.com
